EXchange Hotel Vancouver

To get rid of some of the wedding planning stress Chris and I decided to take a break and take a mini staycation. The EXchange hotel opened late last year in the old stock exchange building in Vancouver.

When you walk into the lobby, you feel like you’re stepping back in time. The hotel has kept the integrity of what the old building may have looked like. Once you step in, you go up to the second floor where you find the check-in desk. As soon as you step out of the elevator, everything is modern and beautiful. Check-in was so easy and painless. As we were on our way to our room, we were given a complimentary glass of wine.

The EXchange hotel put a lot of time and effort into the design and decor of every inch of the hotel. Even the hallway was breathtaking. Our room was on the 10th floor and as soon as we walked in I was in awe. We were given a Deluxe King room. It had an amazing wall mural, a huge king bed, in-room mini bar. There was a 50inch TV, a tablet to use, and ily coffee machine. That was just the sleeping area! The bathroom was just as amazing. There was a massive walk-in shower, heated bathroom floors and all the top stone and finishing. To top everything off, there were two large windows that had a view of the city.

Chris and I were gifted some macaroons and chocolate covered strawberries as a welcome gift with a little note. The macaroons tasted fresh and went so well with the wine we were given.

I was so impressed with our stay at EXchange hotel and would recommend anyone looking for a staycation, or coming into Vancouver to visit, to give this hotel a try!
