I am a sucker for a good brunch, so when my friend Cassidy suggested we check out Wildebeest, I couldn’t say no. Tucked away in East Vancouver, you wouldn’t expect the luxurious restaurant that we walked into. I felt like I was walking into a fairytale. There were flowers and mirrors everywhere. The decor gave me a very ‘Alice in Wonderland’ feel.
We were sat in one of the tables towards the back which was nice and cozy. We were away from all the hustle and bustle were able to enjoy conversation with each other. At first glance of the menu, there were so many options, even just with the coffee!
I ordered the standard breakfast with maple breakfast sausage and Cassidy ordered the Avacado toast. It didn’t take long for the food to arrive. It also didn’t take long for us to eat it! They were quite large portions, but it tasted so good, I’m not sure we even stopped to talk.

I really enjoyed my experience at Wildebeest and will make a point to go and try their dinner menu.
