My Instagram has been blowing up with posts from and about Crab Park Chowdery. The photos make my mouth water just by looking at them. Chris and I finally caved and decided to go try it.

Crab Park Chowdery is a tiny little restaurant with only a few tables, hidden in Gastown. When we arrived, the place was empty, but usually, it’s packed.
I ordered the grilled cheese with bacon with a side of Manhattan clam chowder. Chris ordered the same, but with a side of New England clam chowder. We sat at one of the 5 tables and waited, but not for long.

The food came burning hot, the cheese was still melting all over the wooden board. I started with the soup. It was really good, but definitely had a bit of a spicy kick.
We found that it was a bit pricey for what you got, but we would definitely go back.
