On a typical rainy, grey day in Vancouver, my friend Cassidy and I took to the city in search of a cute little cafe to have lunch. We ended up going to Bel Cafe, an intimate, little place, tucked away in the city.

Since there are only a few tables, we had a short wait before we were seated. In less than 10 minutes, we were seated beside the window with perfect views for people watching.
We quickly ordered our drinks. I got a chai tea latte, and Cassidy got a cappuccino. We were both starving, so we ordered our food right away. Cassidy and I both ordered B.L.T. sandwiches and roasted tomato soup.

The service was great, always refilling our waters, checking up on us, and bringing our food so quickly. The small bowl of soup was a generous serving, and the sandwich was quite large. Not only was it a big serving, but it also tasted great.
I would highly recommend coming here for lunch, coffee, a quick snack or even dessert.
