One of my favourite places to go is Fort Langley. I know I’ve blogged about it before, but I just can’t get enough. The amazing buildings, the boutique shops, the fresh local food, what’s not to love?
Our weather here in Vancouver is (was) finally beginning to look like Spring, so on the first warm, sunny day, my fiancé Chris, my best friend Karleigh and her husband Nick decided to spend the day in Fort Langley.
I was so excited that I was able to wear a skirt for the first time this year and not be cold. To keep a more casual look, I put on a white, graphic tee from old navy (sold out), a lady-length PARTYSKIRTS, and my white Keds. To keep the breeze off, I also threw on my light denim jacket from American eagle (similar here).
We were all hungry when we got there, so we went to Blacksmith Bakery for brunch. I had coffee, and a quiche, which tasted amazing.
After brunch, we decided to walk in and out of the stores. Stopping in baby boutiques, for Karleigh and Nick’s soon to arrive little one, candy stores, antique shops and health stores. With all the walking around, we decided we were ready for another snack, and a drink to enjoy the sunshine.
We finished our day in The Fort Pub & Grill, where were enjoyed beers and cocktails, and pop for Karleigh and shared a huge plate of nachos. The four of us sat and talked while watching everyone walk by.
It was a great day to spend wandering around the town, now that it finally feels like Spring.
