20 Years as a Quad

This blog is mainly about where I go and what I do. However, today I am making an exception. On February 20, 1997 my dad was in an accident that changed his life forever. He has now been a quadriplegic for 20 years.

Due to his disability my dad hasn’t been working, and lives off of a very little disability payment from the government. He has had the same mode of transport for 20 years, and it is slowly giving out, but he can’t afford to buy a new one.
My dad lives an hour away from me, which means he relies highly on his van. With a huge milestone, 20 years in a chair, I think it’s time to get a new van as well.
A new (to him) van costs between $40,000 CAD and $50,000 CAD, and that is just something my family can’t afford.
I am reaching out to everyone to help my dad and my family out buy donating to my GoFundMe page, in order to get him a new van for this 20 year milestone.
Please repost and share this post so it can reach as many people as possible.
