Las Vegas Day Two

We woke up the next morning feeling a little bit worse for wear. We headed downstairs to a breakfast place, where the hotel had comped our meal. After our egg and bacon croissant we went to enjoy the day at the pool. It was so nice and hot out, getting up to 36 degrees.

It was quite busy but we ended up finding two beach chairs. After claiming them, we went for drinks. Chris ordered a bucket of Stella Artois and I ordered a 32 oz. Pina Colada. We were set. We needed to relax and unwind so we lay in the sun, and jumped in and out of the pool all day.

By the time 4pm rolled around, we were starving. We went up to our room to change into something quickly, before heading to the Johnny Rockets in our hotel. We tried not to eat too much because we had dinner reservations at 9pm in the Eiffel Tower Restaurant. After our quick snack, we went upstairs to sleep then get ready. I decided to wear my floral, velvet dress from Forever 21 and my pointy toed heels from Spring.

Bally’s and Paris are connected by different shops and walkways. Because we were so close, we wanted to take advantage of the different restaurants. I had gone up the Eiffel Tower in Vegas before. Chris and I have done the real Eiffel Tower, so we didn’t want to go up this one as well. Instead, we made reservations at the restaurant, which is half way up the Eiffel Tower.

The restaurant is super classy and high-end. It is not the kind of place that Chris and I go often, if at all. When we arrived for our reservations, we were taken to a table over looking the entire strip. From where we sat, we could see the Paris lights and watch the water show put on by the Bellagio every 15 minutes.

We ordered a glass of wine each, and our meals. Chris ordered the beef wellington and I ordered the duck breast. While we waited for our food, our water was topped up always and we were given fresh bread. When our food did arrive, it was incredible. I don’t think I have ever had a more delicious meal.

Chris and I also ordered a chocolate soufflé. While we waited for that, we were given a complementary chocolate mousse to enjoy. Both of the desserts were as amazing as the meals. This restaurant, although pricey, is a must for Vegas. Even if it is just for lunch.

Since it was our last night, on our way back to our room Chris and I decided to hit the slots again. We were up again, thanks to the Britney Spears slots, so we decided to call it a night.

It was a quick trip to Vegas but a great birthday trip none the less.
