Fort Langley

Chris and I had a free day so we decided to walk around Fort Langley. Chris had never been and I hadn’t been in years, so we were both looking forward to exploring.

Knowing we would be doing  a lot of walking, I wanted to be comfortable, but still stylish. I wore my ‘Monte Carlo, Nice’ t-shirt from Old Navy, with my pink floral tea length skirt from Forever 21. So that my feet wouldn’t hurt, I wore my grey oxford shoes (similar).

We started by walking to the historical Fort, located on the edge of the little town. We didn’t have time to go in and look around, but it was neat to see it from behind the wall.

We then made our way back to the car, stopping in little shops on the way. One of my favourites was an antique shop that didn’t seem to end. It was completely full of anything and everything.

After that antique shop, we went into a few others before finding the Little White House. I was in heaven. It was a historic house that housed home goods, knick-knacks and clothes. On top of that, you were able to eat in the little restaurant or have high tea.

Since we had walked so much Chris and I started to get hungry. We decided to sit in and have some lunch. We both ordered English breakfast tea and French onion soup. The soup was delicious. After my soup I wanted a little something sweet so I ordered a white chocolate macaron. I wanted to try all of them!

It was a lovely day out in Fort Langley. It is definitely somewhere I would like to go back and explore some more.
