Burscough, England

Last night, after finally having a cooked English breakfast at home, my boyfriend and I went for a walk along the Leeds/Liverpool canal. I have lived here two months already and haven’t found the time to go for a walk. I was excited to see a different side of the little town I was living in.

Before we left I threw on my Primark Romones tee shirt, my Primark trainers (which are almost identical to Nike Airs), and my Lululemon capri leggings. The outfit was comfortable for our walk along the water, and had a sporty flair.

We walked for about an hour taking in the geese, swans and ducks. I also tried to avoid the insects flying along the water.

We slowly strolled down the canal until it started to get a little darker. By this time we decided it was time to head home. As we turned around, the sun was setting over the canal. It looked as though someone had painted the scene.

We will be making more of a routine of this. I hope to get many more walks in before I go back home to Vancouver.
